If you’re one of those couples that are constantly looking for the most memorable way to amaze your wedding guests, you might give Parker’s Crazy Cookie a try. The brainchild of two-time national champion water-polo player and flamenco guitar musician, Dave Parker, this cookie is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Dave Parker actually creates cookie caricatures of you. How’s that for a custom cookie?
Founded in 2006, Parker’s Crazy Cookies is dedicated to producing a high quality cookie that’s based on a caricature developed from your digital photo. What a great way to immortalize the bride and groom in a vegan and kosher friendly, bite-sized snack. If you’ve been looking for a unique guest favor that your wedding guests will talk about for years, you’ve found it!
How it works
To place an order, go to Dave’s website to fill out his crazy cookie order form. There you will select from several options including choosing your cookie body type, selecting your packaging, and indicating the quantity of cookies you’d like to buy. If you’d prefer a custom body, that can also be created for you for an additional design fee. Your mini-me cookie counterparts will measure in at about 3”x1.8”x0.25”.
Once your order is placed, you will be contacted to provide a digital photo as you enter the Artwork stage of the production process. Based on this digital photo, an artist rendering of your cookie caricature will be produced and sent to you within 24-48 hours. This rendering must be approved before any cookie making can begin. Each order includes one initial proof and up to 3 design revisions if needed. The entire process can take as little as two weeks depending on the duration of this Artwork phase.
Upon approval of your proof, the cookie press is created and on your ship date, the cookies are baked fresh, packaged and shipped. The cookies themselves are similar in taste to an animal cracker. They are made with all natural ingredients, no preservatives and no trans fats. In fact, they are vegan, as no milk or eggs are used in the secret cookie recipe. They are also peanut allergy friendly, as no nuts are used in the production of these cookies either. In addition, the cookies have a shelf life of two to three months if stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
So if you’re ready to immortalize you and your betrothed in the form of edible foodstuffs that anyone can enjoy, be sure to contact Parker’s Crazy Cookies.
